The rooftop of the building required a sturdy waterproofing membrane that was UV stable and could protect against environmental contaminants.

Solution

Vulkem 350R was used as the base layer, providing a highly durable and flexible waterproofing membrane. Its elastomeric properties ensured that it could withstand the thermal expansion and contraction of the building materials, significantly reducing the risk of cracking.
Vulkem 346 as a protective topcoat, enhancing the UV resistance of the roofing system. This topcoat provides excellent weather resistance, protecting the underlying membrane from environmental elements and adding an additional layer of waterproofing.
The application of both Vulkem 350R and Vulkem 346 created a seamless roofing system that successfully met the needs for durability, weather resistance, and low maintenance.
