This project was a modern residential complex located in Caringbah, NSW, encompassing multiple buildings with a significant focus on outdoor living spaces. To enhance the durability and waterproofing of balconies, Vulkem NEM Plus was selected for application below the screed.
One of the primary challenges during the project was the sporadic availability of balconies for the contractor. The builder opted for a less structured approach, resulting in balconies being readied at different times rather than adopting a sequential build method, such as completing entire buildings or even entire floors. Despite the challenges, the project team adapted to the circumstances by implementing a flexible work strategy.
