Overview

A synagogue’s atrium serves as a central gathering space for community events and activities, however over time, the atrium’s surfaces were showing signs of wear and tear. The leadership of the synagogue decided to invest in a sealing solution that would restore the appearance of the space and provide long-term protection.

Solution

The atrium was thoroughly cleaned to remove dust, dirt, and existing contaminants to ensure effective sealing. Once cleaned the TREMglaze 50 was chosen as the sealant for the edges of the glass installation due to its excellent adhesive properties, longevity, and weather-resistant qualities.

To achieve a pristine finish around the top edges of the glass panels, Simple Seal was then applied, and the edges were taped for a clean, professional appearance. This step was essential for ensuring that any potential water ingress was mitigated.

The combination of Simple Seal and TREMglaze 50 dramatically transformed the atrium, greatly enhancing its aesthetic appeal and significantly extending its longevity, which helps in minimising future maintenance and repair costs.
