A state of the art facility located in Randwick was designed to foster health research and collaboration. A crucial aspect of this project involved the installation of a durable roofing solution to ensure long-term protection and performance of the rooftop area. For this purpose, AlphaGuard BIO was selected as the waterproofing membrane due to its environmentally friendly properties and high performance.
A key challenge that was faced was that the installation site was active with multiple trades working simultaneously, which created a dynamic environment that required coordination of the membrane being installed in sections over a 6 week time frame.
The successful installation of Alphaguard BIO over the 3000 square meters of the rooftop was completed within the project timeline, despite the challenges posed by other trades and equipment. The segmented approach allowed for adaptability and efficiency, ensuring that the roofing membrane was applied correctly and effectively.
The project not only fulfilled its waterproofing objectives but also provides excellent durability and UV resistance extending the useful life of the structure.
